2005 Anthony Award Winners and Nominees
Bouchercon, the World Mystery Convention, has announced the winners of the 2005 Anthony Awards, honoring the best first mystery novel, best novel, best paperback original, best historical mystery, best non-fiction, best short story, and best juvenile/young adult mystery published in 2004.
The Anthony Awards, named for long-time mystery critic for NY Times Anthony Boucher, were presented during Bouchercon at the Anthony Awards Banquet, September 4, 2005. Bouchercon attendees made the nominations; the Anthonys were selected at the convention by all convention attendees.
