Lisa Scottoline
Friday, April 13, 2007

Talk and Signing , starting at 7 pm (rescheduled from March 16)

Mega best seller and MLB favorite Lisa Scottoline will return, of course, to MLB on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 7 pm with her latest legal thriller Daddy's Girl.

Lisa will toss out Tasty Cakes and talk about whatever comes into her mind, including the new book with was in part inspired by her own experiences teaching at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Like a fine Italian wine, Lisa Scottoline’s writing just improves with time, becoming deeper and richer. Her newest novel is a stand alone with a Penn Law professor, Natalie Greco whose class, the History of Law, is not igniting any sparks with her students. When a good-looking fellow professor asks her to lecture at a nearby prison, “Nat” reluctantly goes only to become enmeshed in a prison riot. When in the confusion she comes upon the body of a guard who has been stabbed, she begins CPR. The dying guard’s final words for his wife send Natalie to the other side of the law.

Like her heroine, Scottoline has recently begun to teach at Penn and is also embarking on anot her new project, a show for Court TV called Murder by the Book, featuring best-selling mystery writers presenting and discussing dramatizations of real-life crimes.

You won't want to miss Lisa's talk and signing or the book. Please give us a call at 412-828-4877 or use out Contact Form to let us know you're coming.
