Talk and Signing , starting at 7 pm
Best-seller Mary Kay Andrews will make her first visit, under that name, to MLB on Thursday, July 16 at 7 pm with her latest novel, The Fixer Upper.
We used to know Mary Kay under the guise of mystery writer Kathy Trocheck but since 2002 she has knocked out a string of seven entertaining and best-selling novels that all share Southern settings, humor and gutsy heroines.
The Fixer Upper is the latest and it features as its feisty heroine Washington lobbysist Dempsey Jo Killebrew who finds herself jobless and homeless after a scandal involving her boss. Her father offers her a deal: take over the renovation of the ante-bellum house that he's just inherited and they'll flip it and split the profits. A variety of misadventures, romantic as well as renovation-related, ensue but we won't ruin any of the delight you'll find in this book by revealing too much.
The event will be held at the store. Please use our contact form or call 412-828-4877 if you're coming.
