Credit Card security improvements

The security of customers shopping on our website is important to us and as a result we have made a few significant changes.

First, we are discontinuing the payment option for Credit Card On File. We realize that this is a convenience for many regular customers but it creates an opportunity for potential problems and our credit card processors have requested that this practice be discontinued--not only by us but by all merchants. We regret the inconvenience but had no choice.

Secondly, for Visa card holders we've added a requirement for the CVV2 or Credit Card Verification number to be entered along with card number and expiration date. This is the 3 digit number on the back of your card, usually found by the signature line and often preceeded by the last four digits of the card number. This is a security device to ensure that the person making the purchse is in possesion of the actual card.

We hope that these changes, which ultimately are for the benefit of our customers, will not prove troublesome to you.

If you have any questions, please email us or give us a call at 888-800-6078.

Friday, February 13 T.C. Boyle will give a talk and signing of his new book, The Women, at the Oakmont Carnegie Library at 7 pm. Boyle, the author of ten novels including Road to Wellville and The Inner Circle, is a noted speaker and his subject will be Frank Lloyd Wright.
