Who we are

The bookstore behind mysterylovers.com is Mystery Lovers Bookshop. We're one of the largest specialty mystery book stores in the country and we've been in business since 1990. In 2010 we were honored by the Mystery Writers of America with a Raven Award for our contribution to mystery writing, particularly our annual Festival of Mystery.

We carry a wide variety of crime and mystery fiction including thrillers and some espionage. We carry only new books although we have quite a collection of signed first edition hardcovers accumulated from the visits of hundreds of authors to our store.

We do not carry used books although you'll sometimes find an older, out of print book on our shelves or on our website.

Our hours

We're open from 10 until 5 Monday to Saturday, Thursday nights until 8, and from Noon to 4 on Sunday

Our Newsletter

Our Newsletter, The MLB News, is published 6 times a year and carries reviews of upcoming books as well as announcement of our events. A download through our website is available for free.

How to visit us

We're located at 514 Allegheny River Boulevard, Oakmont PA 15139.

Oakmont is a pleasant town about ten miles from downtown Pittsburgh. We are convenient to Exit 48 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and we'll be happy to give you driving directions if you call.
